I coordinate creative projects and content, bringing together the ideas, information, contributors and practical resources needed to take something from its initial brief through to the finished result.
My work has involved curating and editing magazine pages, sourcing imagery, liaising with brands and PR contacts, coordinating contributors and deadlines, and organising awards, events and launches, alongside providing project support to busy editors, founders and small teams.
Since setting up my own freelance business in 2009, I’ve combined this work with editorial roles for Psychologies, Top Santé and Platinum magazines.
Earlier in my career, I managed international accounts at Pukka Herbs and worked in advertising at IPM and CBS Outdoor, where my accounts included Microsoft, Boeing and the Egyptian Tourist Board.
I’m good at getting to grips with what needs doing, finding the information or resources required and bringing order to busy projects.
I have a strong reputation for communicating clearly, building good working relationships and getting on well with people in different roles, both within a team and outside it.
I take ownership of my work, follow things through and can be trusted to keep projects moving.
I enjoy exploring ideas, finding interesting angles and looking beyond the obvious for content, information and inspiration.
I’m used to balancing different priorities, learning new ways of working and moving easily between creative, practical and organisational tasks.
